Terms of Service

What you can expect from DatePilot, and what we expect from you.

⟨TO BE COMPLETED⟩

Draft — this document is incomplete and not yet binding.

Who you are agreeing with

DatePilot is operated by ⟨TO BE COMPLETED⟩, at ⟨TO BE COMPLETED⟩. You can reach us at ⟨TO BE COMPLETED⟩.

By creating an account you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

DatePilot is coaching, not therapy

This is the most important thing on this page. DatePilot is a self-development tool. It is not therapy, not counselling, not medical care, and not a substitute for any of them. Your coach is an AI system, not a licensed professional, and nothing it says is a clinical opinion or a diagnosis.

If you are struggling with your mental health, please speak to a qualified professional. If you are in immediate danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line right away — not this app.

The service watches for language that suggests a crisis and will show you support resources when it does. That check is a safety net, not a monitoring service: it can miss things, and nobody is reading your conversations in real time.

Your account

You must be 18 or older. Keep your sign-in details to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you.

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. Deletion removes your profile, your conversations, your progress and your saved insights, and it cannot be undone.

What you put into the service

Your reflections, answers and messages remain yours. You give us permission to process them so the service can work — storing them, and sending them to the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy so a response can be generated.

Do not upload anything unlawful, and do not put other people’s private information into the service. Much of what you write here is about other people; please write about them the way you would want someone writing about you.

Subscriptions and payment

Some parts of the service require a paid plan. Prices are shown on the pricing page before you pay. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your profile. Cancellation and refund terms are set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

What the AI produces

AI-generated responses can be wrong, incomplete, or simply unhelpful. Treat them as prompts for your own thinking, not instructions. You are responsible for the decisions you make about your own life and relationships.

We do not promise any particular outcome. Nobody can promise you a relationship.

Availability and changes

We try to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee it will be available without interruption. Features may change or be withdrawn.

If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will tell you before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

Limits of our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of ⟨TO BE COMPLETED⟩, and disputes will be heard by the courts of ⟨TO BE COMPLETED⟩.
